Start your holiday shopping early this year with Timbercreek Communities’ top picks for local artisan markets in Calgary and the surrounding area. The Alberta Dames Modern Vintage Market

The Alberta Dames Modern Vintage Market is a two-day massive craft market that TC Calgary ChrismasMarketsshowcases the creative talents of 32 vendors. This is the perfect place to shop for all things vintage, repurposed, retro and antique. There will also be live demonstrations and swag bags given to the first 50 individuals at the market each day. This market runs on October 24th and October 25th in the BMO Centre in Calgary’s Stampede Park. Admission to the market is $14 per person. The BMO Centre is less than a 15-minute walk from Timbercreek’s 123 10 Avenue SW Apartments in Calgary.

Millarville Christmas Market

The Millarville Christmas Market offers a massive selection of vendors selling all things Christmas. This market is sure to put you in the festive spirit with handmade Christmas gifts, decorations, DIY Christmas craft sets, seasonal treats and much more. The little ones can also get their picture taken with Santa at the market. The Millarville Christmas Market runs from November 6th until November 8th at the Millarville Racing and Agricultural Society and costs $5 for admission.

Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market

Spruce Meadows will be in the holiday spirit during the three weekends of their annual International Christmas Market. Stop by for some holiday entertainment, to visit Reindeer Alley, or to pick up some gifts from the more than 250 vendors at the market. Admission to the market is $12 for adults, and includes a complimentary shuttle from the Somerset/Bridlewood LRT Station to Spruce Meadows. The market will be open from Friday through Sunday on the weekends of November 13, 20 and 29.
