It’s almost patio season in Calgary and so Timbercreek Communities has rounded up some of the best patios in the city. Cibo is a new Italian restaurant that is not only one of Calgary’s best tapas restaurants TC Calgary Patiosbut also features one of the best patios in the city. It combines spacious seating with delicious food and a huge drink menu. Cibo is a popular place for people of all ages, be it the young after work crowd or families looking to enjoy a great Italian meal with a beautiful view. The Living Room

The Living Room is a contemporary bar and restaurant that features a cozy patio with great city views. The patio features two outdoor fireplaces, modern décor, director’s chairs for comfortable seating and more. We recommend trying the fresh oysters, steak tartare, cheese fondue and other shareable items.

National on 17th

National on 17th provides guests with a casual and relaxed patio spot perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon with a few beers and some great company. This beer hall-style patio offers communal tables, 72 beers on tap and great comfort food.

Oak Tree Tavern

Oak Tree Tavern is one of Calgary’s best-kept secrets when it comes to patio spots. This second-story patio space that’s attached to the Kensington Oak Tree Tavern offers a fantastic view of the city skyline at sunset. It’s the perfect spot for after work drinks with friends and provides a cool laidback vibe. 

Boxwood Café

The Boxwood Café is a great place to soak up the sun this spring and summer in Calgary. The patio of this café backs out onto Central Memorial Park in the Calgary beltline, giving customers a picnic-like dining experience. The menu is full of locally sourced ingredients, some of which are even grown on site at the restaurant’s own garden. Timbercreek’s 123 10th Avenue South West Community is less than a ten-minute walk from the Boxwood Café.
