Where to swim this summer in Brampton

Grab your bathing suit, goggles and towel and get ready for a day of fun at the pool. Whether you intend on doing laps, water aerobics or simply want to splash around in the pool with your family, try the following local pools in your Brampton neighborhood.

South Fletcher’s Sportsplex
South Fletcher’s Sportsplex community centre features an indoor public swimming pool complete with a sauna, slide, hot tub, lane pool and family change room.  The South Fletcher’s Sportsplex pool has a variety of different programs available to the public including family swim time, adult swim, fitness swim, parent & child swim, females only swim, public swim, therapeutic swim and a youth swim. GoodLife at Bramalea City Centre
GoodLife Fitness at Bramalea City Centre features a chlorine-free indoor pool perfect for lap swimming, water exercise, swimming school and private swim lessons. The facility also offers showers, a Jacuzzi, sauna, locker rooms and a steam room.  Swimming is a great, low impact way to work out your whole body and to keep your energy high. GoodLife offers a variety of aqua classes including WaterInMotion, Energy H20, H20 Sculpt and traditional Aqua Fit. There is also an open swim class available daily, perfect for laps and exercise at your own pace. The full pool schedule is available here. GoodLife is less than a ten-minute drive from Timbercreek’s Brampton community.

Eldorado Park
Eldorado Park offers the city’s only outdoor pool, just a ten-minute drive from Timbercreek’s 25 Rambler Drive community. Surrounded by lush forest on the banks of the Credit River, the park features both an outdoor pool and wading pool perfect for families of all ages. The Eldorado Pool is the perfect place to spend a hot summer day.  Bring your lunch and enjoy the natural scenic beauty of the park’s surroundings. It is open daily until September 3rd. Balmoral Recreation Centre
The Balmoral Recreation Centre offers an indoor swimming pool complete with a diving board for public use. The centre also offers an outdoor wading pool which remains openuntil Labour Day. The indoor facility features a sauna, viewing area, hot tub, 25-metre lane pool and diving board.  A variety of programs are available at the pool including adult swim, youth swim, fitness swim and public swim. The Balmoral Recreation Centre is a 30-minute transit ride from Timbercreek’s Brampton community.
