The Longueuil Library is an amazing local resource for great books, community outreach, family programs, special collections, classes and programs, online resources and more.  Your local branch, Georges-Dor is less than a 25-minute transit ride from Timbercreek’s 99-101 Place Charles Lemoyne Community.

About

The public libraries in Longueuil makes a huge collection available to citizens of all ages and backgrounds. You’ll find nearly 500,000 printed documents, 30,000 audiovisual and multimedia documents, free Internet and computer access, community programs, special events and more. The Longueuil Libraries offer materials in both French and English wherever possible.

How to get a library card

Any citizen of the City of Longueuil can register for one of the network’s libraries and receive a free library card. Visit any branch with both a valid source of identification and proof of residency and you’ll easily be able to get your library card.

Online Resources

There are a number of convenient onlineTC Longueuil Library resources available locally in most libraries and remotely from the comfort of your own home. These resources are used to help identify articles, encyclopedias, educational tutorials and more. Online resources made available by the Longueuil Library include dictionaries and the Encyclopedia of the World State, Online Training, Genealogy records, newspapers, magazines and music.
