Mission

“At Just for Laughs, our mission is very simple, it’s three little words: make people happy.” As a core operating principle, the Just For Laughs team shoots for nothing less than happiness for the public, their customers, partners, media, and sponsors. That’s a pretty good business model, and a pretty great product.

The Festival

Every summer, Montreal plays host to the world’s top comedians for close to two weeks of gut busting laughter. With artists like Kathy Griffin, Jim Carrey, Kevin Hart and a pantheon of others, it’s no laughing matter how much laughing will be happening.

JFL Comedy Pro

Just For Laughs ComedyPRO is a four-day event running during the peak of the Just For Laughs Festival. It explores all facets of comedy. Participants at the 2017 Just For Laughs ComedyPRO event included Kevin Hart, Jim Carrey, Trevor Noah, Danny MacBride, Kaitlin Olson, Jay Baruchel, Ari Graynor, the casts and creators of Vice Principals (HBO), I’m Dying Up Here (Showtime), The Mick (FOX), The History of Comedy (CNN) and much more. JFL Pro runs July 25th to 28th, 2018. Learn more.

Kevin Hart: Irresponsible Tour

The first concert announcement for JFL 2018 is none other than comedic rockstar, Kevin Hart. After spending consecutive weeks in the number one box office spot for his film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kevin is bringing his highly successful U.S. concert tour to Montreal on July 27th.
