Bailey’s Local Foods

Bailey’s Local Foods takes the hassle out of grocery shopping and buying local with itsTC Kitchener Thanksgiving online ordering system that allows you to pick out farm fresh produce, meats and baked goods from the comfort of your own home. All of Bailey’s Local Foods choices are from farmers and producers within a 100 mile radius of the Waterloo Region. Kitchener Market

The Kitchener Market is an urban market that features a full marketplace, section of international cuisine vendors and a Saturday farmers’ market. The Marketplace is a 2,000-square-foot multi-use community facility that is used for a wide variety of vendors and for events. The International Cuisine Vendors section of the market is where you can enjoy ethnically diverse meals made right before your eyes, with fresh ingredients and at a low cost. The Saturday Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday and offers the best in local meat, produce, dairy products, baked goods and more. The Kitchener Market is less than a ten-minute drive from Timbercreek’s 80 Mooregate Crescent Apartments in Kitchener.

St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market

The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is Canada’s largest year-round farmers’ market. The market is open on Thursday and Saturday from morning to late afternoon all year round. Shoppers can enjoy hundreds of vendors who bring farm-fresh foods, crafts, imported goods, antiques, ready-to-eat meals and more. In the summer months the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is also open on Tuesday, giving locals and tourists an extra day of farm fresh shopping.


Herrle’s is a family owned and operated farm, located just west of the Waterloo region. This farm offers a massive selection of in-season produce. It’s the perfect place to visit with the whole family and to buy (and even pick) your own pumpkins, squash, beans, peas, strawberries, sweet corn and more.
