Kick off your summer at the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg. This 10-day festival starts on June 14th and features all kinds of rides, music, buskers and competitions. New France Festival

Transport yourself to the seventeenth century at this unique festival and witness thousands of colourful costumes from that time, musical performances and parades. The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the arrival of the first Europeans in America, as well as Quebecâ€™s rich cultural heritage. The New France Festival runs from August 1st to 4th in Quebec City.
