    Timbercreek Communities wants to help you celebrate the fall harvest in Canada. Check out these fabulous farms this autumn where you can get a true taste of Canada.

    Terra Beata

    Nestled next to the Atlantic ocean, about an hour west of Halifax, you’ll find Terra Beata. This 15-acre cranberry farm features the one and only U-pick cranberry service in Nova Scotia! They’re open year round, but high season begins with Open Farm Day on September 15th. The season runs until early November. Visit the Bog Store for farm-made preserves.

    La Ferme Quinn

    Visit La Ferme Quinn, about an hour east of Montréal, for U-pick berries and sweet corn in the summer, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. Their Fall Festival runs every weekend from September 15th to October 8th. Your $8 admission gets you access to the orchard, tractor rides, pony rides, farm animals and live music. Their Farm Shop serves up homemade products and delicious fresh baked goods.

    Chudleigh’s Farm

    Visiting Chudleigh’s Farm has been a tradition for GTA families since they first opened in 1967. Along with apple picking from August until mid October, enjoy tractor rides, pony rides, a hay maze, nature trails and more! Visit the farm store for fresh-baked pies and other sweet treats.

    Deer Meadow Farms

    Visit Deer Meadow Farms, near Winnipeg, to pick pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch, visit a Petting Farm, get lost in a corn maze, bump along on a wagon ride, and get spooked on a Haunted Hayride for Halloween. Shop the Farm Store for fresh free-range eggs, goat’s milk soap, decadent fudge and much more. It's open May 15th through November 3, 2018.

    Black Fox Farm & Distillery

    Black Fox Farm & Distillery in Saskatoon is a working flower farm and distillery. Samples of their spirits can be enjoyed (3 for $5). Don’t miss the annual Pumpkin Festival over the last 3 weeks of September. Expect Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Golf, an Obstacle Course and more!

    The Jungle Farm

    The Jungle Farm in Red Deer offers U-pick strawberries in the summer and pumpkin picking from the first week of September through October. The Fall Festival offers wagon rides, an 8-acre corn maze, and much more. The General Store in the barn boasts a bounty of baked goods, preserves, caramel apples and more!

    Osheaga is a renowned annual multi-day music and arts festival in Montreal, Quebec.     Chasing Summer

    An electronic music festival running August 4 and 5, 2018, Chasing Summer comes to life at the Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds in Calgary. This year’s lineup features many artists from other cross Canada festivals this summer, such as Martin Garrix, Black Tiger Sex Machine, DJ Snake, and Dillon Francis. Learn more.

    Meme

    The Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition is an annual (free) event in that it offers a wealth of high calibre local and international electronic musicians. MEME presents refined, cutting edge electronic music, performed using the latest in new creative technologies, with an array of musical styles spanning house, techno, deep dub, psychedelic, world, nu-jazz, ambient and experimental sounds.     Mutek

    MUTEK Montréal bursts into action this summer, with its 19th edition, running August 22 to 26.     Mission

    The Festival

    Every summer, Montreal plays host to the world’s top comedians for close to two weeks of gut busting laughter. With artists like Kathy Griffin, Jim Carrey, Kevin Hart and a pantheon of others, it’s no laughing matter how much laughing will be happening. 

    JFL Comedy Pro

    Just For Laughs ComedyPRO is a four-day event running during the peak of the Just For Laughs Festival. It explores all facets of comedy. Participants at the 2017 Just For Laughs ComedyPRO event included Kevin Hart, Jim Carrey, Trevor Noah, Danny MacBride, Kaitlin Olson, Jay Baruchel, Ari Graynor, the casts and creators of Vice Principals (HBO), I’m Dying Up Here (Showtime), The Mick (FOX), The History of Comedy (CNN) and much more.     Kevin Hart: Irresponsible Tour

    The first concert announcement for JFL 2018 is none other than comedic rockstar, Kevin Hart. After spending consecutive weeks in the number one box office spot for his film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kevin is bringing his highly successful U.S. concert tour to Montreal on July 27th.
