Learn more in today’s post from the Timbercreek Communities blog team. We hope this post steers residents at nearby Hamilton apartments towards the best brews they’ve ever tasted.

Craft Beer

Sample incredible craft brews

Because Beer Craft Beer Festival is an opportunity for brewers to showcase both their product and their commitment to the craft. There are over 30 craft breweries participating in this year’s festival, July 8th and 9th, at Pier 4 Park (64 Leander Drive). Sample the best craft brews in the province, and meet the masters behind your favourite beverage. The park is less than a 10-minute drive from Le Palais & Capital Terrace Apartments (175 & 205 Hunter Street West), and just over 10 minutes from Mainwell Apartments (23 Spring Street).

Beer and so much more

Hamilton’s premier craft beer festival goes beyond craft brews. The two-day event includes a great lineup of live music. Headlining this year is Terra Lightfoot, Hamilton’s favourite hometown roots rocker, and Yukon Blonde, the Canadian indie rock band heralding from Kelowna, British Columbia. Explore the many food trucks on site to eat while you jam, and make sure to catch the crowning of this year’s Because Beer Homebrew Champion.

For true connoisseurs

The July celebration is your chance to learn more about the craft you love. This year’s special industry guest speakers include Robin Leblanc, writer for the award-winning website, The Thirsty Wench, and Jordan St. John, National Beer Columnist for Sun Media. Festival alumni Crystal Luxmore from Experience Beer is also slated to speak.

Order your tickets for Because Beer today for a special earlybird price, or opt to buy at the door. The Timbercreek Communities blog team wishes you a safe and fun festival experience!
