A treat for the taste buds

If you have never attended the Savour Food and Wine Festival, you won’t want to miss this year’s event. The festival includes a series of culinary celebrations, many of which take place near our Halifax apartments. In addition, a handful of local restaurants offer irresistible three-course prix-fixe menus at affordable prices, giving you the perfect excuse for a night out this winter.

Coming up first

Jump into this year’s celebration by attending the first major event of the festival. Decadence, which will be held on January 28th at the World Trade and Convention Centre (1800 Argyle Street,), a 10-minute drive from Terrace View Apartments (41 Cowie Hill Road). The affair will feature the very finest in chocolate, wine, beer and cheese.

The best restaurants in town 

Which restaurant will you go to first? The new Chi Bistro (5687 Charles Street) is a 10-minute drive from Wilshire Apartments (214 Willett Street). This eatery specializes in small and large plates designed for sharing with family and frienTC Halifax FoodandWineds. Food will be prepared with a delicious Chinese twist. TEMPO Food and Drink (1875 Barrington Street) is also joining the festival fun.
