If you are a foodie or wine lover, then you need to check out the upcoming Ottawa Food and Wine Festival. The Ottawa Food and Wine Festival

The Ottawa Food and Wine Festival has been providing both locals and tourists with an TC Ottawa FoodWineamazing festival celebrating all things food and wine since 1985. This 30-year-old festival is back for another year of food, drink and fun from October 30th until November 1st at Ottawa’s Shaw Centre. There will be live demonstrations, samples from various vendors, contests, cooking lessons, wine tastings and much more. You can purchase special event tickets, which give you VIP access or a Tasting Floor Pass which is your standard daily pass for the event. The Shaw Centre is only a ten-minute walk from Ottawa’s 135 York Street apartment in Ottawa.

Anna Olson

Anna Olson is a celebrity chef and host of the Food Network Canada’s Bake with Anna Olson. She has also authored seven bestselling cookbooks including her most recent, Back to Baking. Watch Anna talk about her culinary philosophy in a live demonstration along with some techniques and helpful tips for baking. You’ll even get to sample some of her amazing baking creations!

Host for the Holidays

Choose from a variety of one-hour seminars that will help you be the host with the most this holiday season. Topics range from spices and upscale comfort food baking to brining a turkey and setting the table. Come learn, taste and take away some delicious recipes that the whole family will love. This event is free with the purchase of a regular day pass.

Tasting Floor at the Ottawa Convention Centre

The can’t-miss event of the festival is of course the Tasting Floor at the Shaw Centre. There will be hundreds of exhibitors offering samples of the finest wines, beers, spirits and food. Come and discover flavours you’ve never tried before and meet and learn from the creators of these products.
